Our Building - Children's Room

The children's room features a mural with a Penn's Woods theme, with a corner stage for storytelling. Computers in the children's room encourages the use of the library's learning software. |

Tiadaghton Room

The Tiadaghton Room houses the library's genealogy and historical books, many of which are about the local history in this part of Lycoming County. |

The library has an expanding collection of children's, audio, and large print books, as well as videos and numerous periodicals. Internet access is available for the public use.

Our History
One of the most frequently asked questions is, "How did Jersey Shore get its name?" Well ….. some of the early settlers to the area were from New Jersey.
They settled on the west side of the river, and soon their area was referred
to as "the Jersey side" or "the Jersey shore".
